<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise sample display apparatus for a vending machine, capable of displaying a sheet-like merchandise sample on a display stand while maintaining the posture of the sheet-like merchandise sample even when only a part of the sheet like merchandise sample is held. <P>SOLUTION: A merchandise sample display apparatus for a vending machine is installed in a display chamber formed on an outer door that opens and closes the front surface of a body cabinet. In the merchandise sample display apparatus, a merchandise information digital display 4 in which a vertically long belt-like transparent cover member 44 is provided that is located on the front surface of a liquid crystal display section 41 displaying a merchandise price and protects the liquid crystal display section 41 is provided on the front surface of a display stand 1 that displays multiple merchandise samples 80 in the horizontal direction.
