<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thickness measuring method of a sheet-like material for measuring the thickness of the sheet-like material while reducing costs, and to provide a conveyance device of the sheet-like material. <P>SOLUTION: A conveyance belt 12 is composed of first and second conveyance belts 1202 and 1204 which are divided into two in a direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction of a sheet-like material 2. A gap S is secured between the first and second conveyance belts 1202 and 1204. The sheet-like material 2 is conveyed by the first and second conveyance belts 1202 and 1204. First and second displacement sensors 16 and 18 are contactless types and arranged apart at above and below the sheet-like material 2 located in a region of the gap S between the first and second conveyance belts 1202 and 1204, and detect displacements of the upper and lower surfaces of the sheet-like material 2. Thickness calculation means 20 calculates the thickness of the sheet-like material 2 on the basis of the displacements of the upper and lower surfaces detected by the first and second displacement sensors 16 and 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
