<p>The hand operated striking tool has gripping handle (40) and striking head (10). An intermediate shaft (20) extends handle, and supports head. The handle comprises tube in which shaft is partially extended. The shaft and tube (42) are made from rigid materials of specific hardness range. The shaft has radial bearing area against tube, with interposition of link portion to absorb vibrations from flexible material of tube. A free terminal area (26) not covered by link portion (30) is radially separated from walls of tube. An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing hand operated striking tool.</p> |
