The utility model provides a periphery edge process device for a hard fragile plate which can automatically and continuously run for a very long time and is not restrained by automatic operation time due to wear of small-diameter grinding devices. The periphery edge process device is provided with an automatically replacing unit which automatically replaces the worn small-diameter grinding devices with new grinding devices. The periphery edge process device is provided with a transverse feeding table which is arranged above a work-piece shaft and moves along the horizontal direction, a longitudinal feeding table arranged on the transverse feeding table, a grinding device storing room and a grinding device drive shaft. The grinding device drive shaft enables the shaft center to be parallel to the moving direction of the transverse feeding table and to be aligned to the lead straight face containing the shaft center of the work-piece shaft. The grinding device drive shaft is supported on the longitudinal feeding table in a way of being parallel to the work-piece shaft. The grinding device storing room is provided with a plurality of the small-diameter grinding devices. The shaft center of each small-diameter grinding device is arranged in the lead straight face which passes through the shaft center of the grinding device drive shaft and parallel to the moving direction of the transverse feeding table. |
