The household cooling apparatus has a door (2) for closing a storage chamber (3). An evaporation portion (9) is set for evaporating the condensation water out of the storage chamber. A heating device (10) and a ventilator (12) are activated by an electronic control unit (13) so as to increase the evaporation rate in the evaporation portion. The activation of the heating device and the ventilator is performed based on the condensation water amount in the evaporation portion and moisture amount in the storage chamber.
