PURPOSE: A single-acting pneumatic cylinder with a variable discharge vent is provided to prevent the abnormal abrasions of a piston by minimizing the inflow of foreign materials into a cylinder barrel with a variable discharge vent. CONSTITUTION: A single-acting pneumatic cylinder comprises a cylinder barrel(100), a head cover(200), a piston(300), a piston rod(400), an air injection port(500), and a variable discharge vent(600). The variable discharge vent comprises a vent member and a lower stopper(620). The vent member is installed in an installation hole(110) bored in the cylinder barrel to discharge air in the cylinder barrel outside. The lower stopper is protruded on one end of the outer periphery of the vent member. A discharge inlet(611) for discharging the internal air of the cylinder barrel is formed in one end of the vent member. A discharge outlet(612) for discharging the air entered from the discharge inlet to the outside is formed in the other side of the vent member. A connection passage(613) is formed between the discharge inlet and the discharge outlet. |
