<p>The present invention relates to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a method and device for sending a data packet, updating and maintaining a super frame number state of a PDCP layer, and processing data.The method for processing data includes: judging whether or not it is necessary to read a service data unit in a received data packet according to the sequence number of the data packet; when it is not necessary to read the service data unit in the data packet, judging whether or not the current PDCP entity or the bearer link corresponding to the PDCP entity is configured to apply a header compression algorithm;and, if the judgment result indicates that the data packet or the current PDCP entity is configured not to apply the header compression algorithm, then directly discarding the service data unit in the data packet.</p> |
