PURPOSE: A scan image editing method and a display device are provided to use an editing user interface(UI) window including an editing image and a function icon, thereby increasing efficiency of scan work. CONSTITUTION: A communication interface unit(150) receives an editing request signal for editing a scan image for a scan object obtained through an input device(200). A control unit(110) displays an editing UI window including an editing image and a function icon on a display unit(120) corresponding to the editing request signal. The control unit selects the editing image and locates the same in a specific region. When the editing image is located in the specific region, the control unit converts the editing image into image data and text data. The control unit displays the text data in a specific function corresponding to the specific region.
