<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture separator capable of suppressing the unevenness of a flow rate of steam supplied to a separator. <P>SOLUTION: The moisture separator 10G includes: a housing 12; a plurality of steam inlets disposed at one side orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the housing and arranged in the longitudinal direction; a separator disposed between the respective steam inlets in the longitudinal direction of the housing and separating hygroscopic moisture; and a distribution path extending along the separator in the longitudinal direction and capable of distributing steam from each steam inlet to the separator. At the just downstream side the steam inlet, a shock receiver 20 is formed to be bent in a roughly U-shape having a bottom on the steam inlet side in the cross section of the moisture separator and separating a steam flow flowing in from the steam inlet into two flows.
