PURPOSE: A door operation restricting apparatus is provided to improve durability of a door and safety of users. CONSTITUTION: A door operation restricting apparatus can restrict the operation of a door by modulating the structure of a conventional door driving unit. In response to an electric signal from a sensor installed between the door and a door frame, a motor(21) is rotated and raised along with a piston(23). Oily fluid(25) filled in the door operation restricting apparatus raises a protrusion(27) according to the ascent of the piston. The raised protrusion fits into a groove of an upper cover(24), thereby restricting the operation of the door. |
