<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement resistor which can improve heat dissipation and requires no resistor for being supported during assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A housing space within an insulating case 1 is made larger in thickness than a width of a ribbon-shaped resistor 6, and its plane shape is U-shaped. The ribbon-shaped resistor with lead terminals 2 provided at both ends thereof is bent like a U shape in a manner that the lead terminals 2 may be located inward, and it is inserted into the housing space. While the resistor is inserted in the U shape, it has extending elasticity because of its spring property, so that the outer surface of the ribbon-like resistor 6 is in contact with the inner wall of the U-shape housing space. Cement is charged in this state to make a cement resistor. When the resistor is in operation, heat generating in the resistor 6 is smoothly and thermally conducted to the insulating case 1 for radiation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
