Disclosed are an advertisement system using a digital signboard and an advertisement method of the system. An advertisement system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: at least one mobile terminal which executes a digital signboard application, and on the basis of exposure weights in accordance with at least one advertisement content and exposure preference time, outputs said at least one advertisement content to a digital signboard by differentiating the frequency of exposure according to each exposure weight at each exposure preference time when a call is received or placed or when put on call waiting, and then transmits exposure information of the advertisement content outputted on said digital signboard to an advertisement server; and the advertisement server which updates the frequency of exposure of said outputted advertisement content by using said exposure information, and calculates dividends through which advertising expenses are to be allocated to at least one mobile terminal user by using said advertising expenses and said outputted advertisement content for a certain period of time.
