BLACK INK, INK CARTRIDGE, AND INKJET RECORDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black ink, wherein an image obtained by using the black ink has high moisture resistance and has a preferable black tone.

SOLUTION: The black ink contains first, second, and third color materials. The first color material is a water-soluble dye that contains a triphenylmethane skeleton; the second color material is a water-soluble dye that contains a xanthene skeleton; and the third color material is a water-soluble dye that contains an azo skeleton. The ink contains a sugar compound having a carbon number of 6 or more and the number of hydroxyl groups of 5 or more.
