The present invention relates to a system and terminal for providing an environment-friendly route comprising: a vehicle terminal, installed in each of at least one vehicle, for setting a departure point and an arrival point for a vehicle; at least one sensor laid under each of a plurality of links which constitute roads; an information providing terminal for receiving departure and arrival data from the vehicle terminal, for confirming the vehicle type, amount of exhaust emission according to the vehicle type and road information when a vehicle detection signal is received from the sensor, and for providing to the vehicle terminal, after extracting at least one route from the current location to the destination, a calculated expected exhaust emission from a vehicle when the extracted route is taken; and a main sever for providing information to the information providing terminal comprising the amount of exhaust emission based on the vehicle type and road information.
