<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that prevents formation of air bubbles in oil filled in a panel on which a mechanical shutter is disposed. <P>SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a pair of light transmissive substrates 10 and 12 arranged opposite each other with an interval; a seal member 38 for bonding the pair of light transmissive substrates 10 and 12; oil 42 filled in a sealing space; and a shutter 14 formed on the light transmissive substrate 10 and disposed in the sealing space. A thermal expansion coefficient α of the seal member 38 is higher than a thermal expansion coefficient β of the oil 42, or a relationship of 0.8β≤α≤1.2β is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
