The lever has a handle part (1) provided with a pin (4) that is rotatably accommodated in a bearing (5) i.e. slot guide, and displaceably fed in the bearing transverse to an extension direction of the bearing. A sensor i.e. proximity sensor, detects a position of the pin in the bearing. A resilient spring element is arranged in the bearing and as a spring cushion between the sensor and the pin, where the spring cushion is made of resilient plastic i.e. rubber. The spring element is arranged on both sides of the pin.
