Provided is a content processing device which accumulates, at predetermined periods, social information that stipulates the relationship and degree of intimacy among users calculated on the basis of lifelog information among the users. The content processing device uses content meta-information to determine, from among the predetermined periods, a period in which content is generated. The content processing device determines an evaluation period from said period, calculates the degree of intimacy among shared users in the evaluation period, determines the priority of the evaluation period in accordance with the magnitude of the degree of intimacy, and in accordance with said priority, controls the output of the content generated in the evaluation period.
