PURPOSE: A knitting method of outer socks is provided to increase the production efficiency by knitting outer socks as a whole without separate cutting and sewing processes by using a circular knitting machine so that the foot fitting portion is equipped. CONSTITUTION: A knitting method of outer socks(20) comprises the following steps: first step of knitting the linking part(21) in a cylindrical shape using the whole needles equipped on the circumference of a needle cylinder while rotating the needle cylinder in one direction; second step of setting a half of the circumference of the needle cylinder as a set section and knitting a heel part(22) using the needles within the set section while repeating 180° forward and backward rotation of the needle cylinder from one end to the other end of the set section; third step of setting the circumference of the rest needle cylinder except one needle among the needles equipped on the circumference of the needle cylinder as a set section, and knitting a body(23) equipped with a foot fitting part(231) having open shape due to the one needle which is excluded from the set section using the needles within the set section while repeating forward and backward rotation of the needle cylinder from one end to the other end of the set section; fourth step of setting at least one of set sections in the circumference of the needle cylinder in order to comply with the position and width to form a popping pattern(24), and knitting the popping pattern protruded from the knit side using the needles within the set section to be connected from the completed foot fitting part while repeating forward and backward rotation of the needle cylinder from one end to the other end of the set section; and fifth step of setting a half of the needle cylinder as a set section in the same method of knitting the heel part in the second step, and knitting 5th step knitting of a toe part(25) using the needles within the set section while repeating 180° forward and backward rotation of the needle cylinder from one end to the other end of the set section. |
