<p>PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a control method thereof are provided to control the location of an object displayed on a screen. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(180) executes a screen editing mode in response to an object generation command. In case touch input is sensed in the screen editing mode, the control unit generates screen location information corresponding to a touch point on a screen. A display unit(151) displays the generated object based on the screen location information. In case the screen editing mode is executed, the control unit sets up a grid cell. The control unit selects the grid cell for inserting the generated object.
