The assembly has a hoisting cable (2) guided into two end stations of the assembly over deflection pulleys. Chairs (3) are couplable to the cable along a path of the assembly, uncoupled from the cable when the chairs are entered into the stations and guided through the stations along guide rails (40). Each chair has a safety bar (31) movable between open and closed positions. An adjusting device (6) for adjusting and locking the safety bar is brought into an active position when a checking device (50) determines that locking of the safety bar is not taken place by another adjusting device (5). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a cablecar assembly. |
