NOVEL INTERMEDIATE COMPOUND USEFUL FOR THE PREPARATION OF UROCANIC ACID AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: An intermediate compound for preparing urocanic acid and a method for preparing the same are provided to enable easy purification and reaction termination and to prepare a compound used in various industries. CONSTITUTION: An intermediate compound is denoted by chemical formula 4. The intermediate compound is used as an intermediate for preparing urocanic acid. A method for preparing the intermediate comprises a step of reacting a compound of chemical formula 2 and a compound of chemical formula 3 under the presence of a base and metal catalyst. The metal catalyst is a palladium catalyst including dichlorobis(triphenylphosphine)palladium or tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium. The base is triethyl amine or potassium carbonate.
