FIELD: agriculture.SUBSTANCE: fishing rod comprises an extended thin and elastic body, a coil for a fishing line and a gripping device. The coil for the fishing line is installed on the fishing rod in its rear part. The gripping device is arranged in the rear part of the fishing rod, preferably in the area of fixation of the coil to it. The gripping device comprises a rear handle. The front handle comprises a strong tubular part. The tubular part is only attached to the rear end of the body and has a configuration allowing for side displacement of the rear end of the extended thin elastic body relative to the front handle.
