<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a serial communication apparatus for easily performing serial communication between a master and a plurality of slaves with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A serial communication apparatus comprises: slaves S0 to SN; a master M; communication lines Tx<SB POS="POST">0</SB>to Tx<SB POS="POST">N</SB>which perform data transmission from the master M to each of the slaves S0 to SN; and communication lines Rx<SB POS="POST">0</SB>to Rx<SB POS="POST">N</SB>which perform data transmission from the slaves S0 to SN to the master M. Each of the plurality of slaves S0 to SN operates according to an instruction transmitted by the master M through each of the communication lines Tx<SB POS="POST">0</SB>to Tx<SB POS="POST">N</SB>. An OR circuit using a transistor is arranged on each of the communication lines Rx<SB POS="POST">0</SB>to Rx<SB POS="POST">N</SB>. A slave which does not communicate with the master M outputs a signal for turning off the transistor onto a communication line of the communication lines Rx<SB POS="POST">0</SB>to Rx<SB POS="POST">N</SB>to which the slave is connected, and another slave which communicates with the master M outputs a signal for turning on the transistor onto another communication line of the communication lines Rx<SB POS="POST">0</SB>to Rx<SB POS="POST">N</SB>to which the other slave is connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
