<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purification filter material that exhibits excellent dust visibility, antifungal effect and durability, can be pleated, and has low ventilation resistance and high deodorizing performance. <P>SOLUTION: This air purification filter material 1 includes: an upstream cover layer 2; and a downstream activated carbon layer 3. The upstream cover layer 2 is formed of a sheet of 10-100g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>carrying phthalocyanine copper compound and a silver product which is manufactured by a wet type paper making method, hydroentangling or spunbonding. The amount of carried phthalocyanine copper compound is 0.01-0.1g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>.
