<p>A glass plate production device of the present invention is a device capable of adjusting the speed of cooling of a glass plate. The glass plate production device produces a glass plate (91) by causing molten glass (90), which has overflowed from a forming body, to flow down along both side surfaces of the forming body (10) and then causing the flows of the molten glass to merge together in the vicinity of the lower end of the forming body. The glass plate production device comprises cooling adjustment plates and temperature control units. The cooling adjustment plates are located below the confluence of the flows of the molten glass so as to be arranged next to each other in the direction of the flow of the molten glass, and the cooling adjustment plates adjust the cooling speed of the glass plate. The temperature control units are respectively provided to the cooling adjustment plates and control the temperature of the cooling adjustment plates.</p> |
