<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that can maintain communication quality even if a certain subcarrier is disturbed and suppress the power consumption of a terminal which is not a communication object. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication system performs radio communication between transmission and reception devices using a plurality of subcarriers. A baseband processing unit 36 of a transmission and reception device modulates transmission data, demodulates a received signal, and also detects reception quality of each carrier included in the received signal. A CPU 33 determines subcarriers to be used for transmission based on the reception quality of each detected carrier, and outputs the number of subcarriers to be used, and a modulation scheme and a coding rate at the time of transmission. A MAC processing unit 35 obtains a line usage period based on the modulation scheme, the coding rate, and the number of subcarriers to be used output from the CPU 33 at the time of transmission, generates a transmission frame including the line usage period and transmits to the baseband processing unit 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
