<p>Provided is a dental therapy apparatus enabling more reliable, less invasive dental therapy. A dental therapy apparatus (10A) comprises: a laser light source (11) for outputting a laser light (L) having a wavelength in the wavelength range of 5.7-6.6 µm; a control unit (12) for pulse-driving the laser light source and controlling the pulse width and/or repetition frequency of the pulsating laser light outputted from the laser light source; and an irradiation optical system (13) for irradiating a tooth (20), including a caries site (21), with the light outputted from the laser light source. With this dental therapy apparatus, the control of the pulse width and/or repetition frequency of the pulse light by the control unit allows for the caries site (21) to be selectively cut out.</p> |
