PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that allows wide viewing range of three-dimensional display.

SOLUTION: A parallax barrier panel 304 includes: a first substrate 304a on which a plurality of light-blocking layers 305 and a plurality of light-transmitting layers 306 are alternately arranged in contact with one surface; and a second substrate 304b having the light-blocking layers and the light-transmitting layers held between the first substrate 304a and the second substrate 304b. The refractive index of the light-transmitting layer is different from the refractive index of the first substrate or the second substrate. Such a structure is overlapped on a display panel 204 in which a plurality of pairs of right-eye pixels and left-eye pixels are provided.
