MANUFACTURING METHOD OF ORGANIC EL DISPLAY DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic EL display device including an organic EL element having the same element characteristics as an organic EL element formed with a metal mask or the like in a vacuum consistency state while using a photolithographic patterning method.

SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an organic EL display device includes: an organic compound layer formation step of forming an organic compound layer on a first electrode; a peeling layer formation step of forming a peeling layer on the organic compound layer; a processing step of processing the peeling layer and the organic compound layer respectively into predetermined pattern shapes; and a peeling layer removal step of removing the peeling layer with a polar solvent. The organic compound layer formation step forms a layer including a condensed polycyclic hydrocarbon compound (excluding a compound having a m-terphenyl group) as an uppermost layer of the organic compound layer. The peeling layer formation step forms a layer composed of compounds soluble in the polar solvent at least on a lowermost layer of the peeling layer by vapour deposition method.
