The present invention provides a composition including a myrrh extract, which is an active ingredient and is extracted from dried and ground myrrh by using an aliphatic polarized solvent, for treating leukemia, and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers. The myrrh extract can induce apoptosis and inhibit the multiplication of leukemia cells using just a small quantity and thus can be widely applied to various pharmaceutical agents.
