<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing ostrich fern powder in relation to a dried powdery food utilizing wild vegetable "ostrich fern", which is utilizable as a functional food raw material specifically by inventing a scheme in the production method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing ostrich fern powder includes the following process: the process of receiving a raw material where parts unfit for human consumption or defective raw material are/is eliminated; the bubbling-wash process of separating foreign substances and the like adhering to the surface of the wild vegetable "ostrich fern" and washing it; the branching process of slightly heating the ostrich fern with hot water; the warm air drying process where the temperature in a drying case, an airflow amount and drying time are set up and the ostrich fern is dried until the moisture amount in the ostrich fern reaches to an objective one; and the millstone-principle-applied milling process of rotating an upper millstone and a lower millstone to physically minutely crush the dried ostrich fern into powder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
