<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply apparatus for a vehicle, which can satisfy both of charging operation and cooling of an inverter, and with which the inverter mounted on an air conditioning compressor also serves for use when a battery is charged. <P>SOLUTION: This power supply apparatus includes: heat exchanging parts 127, 125 for using a refrigerant in a freezing cycle 120 to cool a cooling required part 141 of an inverter integrated charger 140; and a determination means for determining whether or not the cooling required part 141 is required to be cooled. A control device 180, when external power 200 is charged to a battery 110 while a traveling function of the vehicle is stopped, makes the inverter integrated charger 140 actuate as a charger to perform charging to the battery 110, and upon determining the necessity of cooling of the cooling required part 141 from the determination result of the determination means, makes the inverter integrated charger 140 actuate as an inverter, and controls actuation of a motor 130 to drive a compressor 121. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
