<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mechanical reliability on a parking lock device without increasing a required switching force or selecting force and a required selecting torque. <P>SOLUTION: This parking lock device of an automatic transmission for a vehicle includes a parking lock gear 1 connected to a driven shaft for operation. The parking lock gear 1 can be locked by a lock member 2, which can be operated by a connecting rod 3, relative to a predetermined switching position in a lock plate 4 connected to a selector shaft 5, preventing relative rotations thereof. The connecting rod 3 is connected to the lock plate 4 for operation through a connecting means which limits the selecting torque to be applied to the selector shaft 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
