摘要 <p>Disclosed is a gain control device for a transimpedance amplifier of a lithium niobate modulator. A resistor array unit in the device is used together with a range selection unit, and self-adaptively selects a corresponding resistor and then outputs a signal to the transimpedance amplifier according to the responsivity range of the PD acquired from the range selection unit. Further disclosed is a gain control method for a transimpedance amplifier of a lithium niobate modulator, including the following steps: a range selection unit acquires the responsivity range inside the PD of the lithium niobate modulator under different working states; the resistor array unit self-adaptively selects a corresponding resistor and then outputs a signal to the transimpedance amplifier according to the responsivity range of the PD acquired from the range selection unit; and a variable gain control unit amplifies a voltage signal outputted by the transimpedance amplifier. By using the device and method of the present invention, the resistor can be self-adaptively selected according to the responsivity range of the PD without changing the resistor frequently, thus reducing the manufacture cost of the product and increasing the production efficiency of the product.</p>
