The wiper blade device has a spring-elastic support element (10a) and a wiper strip (12a), where the support element is designed for making a positive connection. The positive connection partly forms an accommodating region for the wiper strip. The support element is limited at three sides by the accommodating region. The accommodating region has a constriction at a side for making the positive connection. An independent claim is included for a method for making a positive connection to a support element.
