<p>The vehicle has an electric motor (3) that drives a wheel (1). An encoder (4) detects rotational speed or an angle of rotation of electric motor. A wheel sensor (2) is provided on wheel for providing a speed signal relating to rotational speed of wheel. An evaluation device (5) is provided for checking plausibility of detected rotational speed of electric motor by rotary encoder based on speed signal of wheel sensor.
