PURPOSE: A MR damper is provided to apply predetermined level of magnetic field by using a permanent magnetic. CONSTITUTION: A MR damper comprises a cylinder member(20) and a piston member(40). The cylinder member is filled with MR fluid and sealed. The piston member is installed in the cylinder member. The piston member comprises a piston rod(42) and a piston head(44). The piston rod is arranged in a longitudinal direction. The piston head partitions the cylinder member into an upper chamber and a lower chamber.
