<p>The seal (1) has a core (3) comprising a rigid elongated form along longitudinal direction, and lower and upper sealing lips (5, 7) that are rigidly fixed at the core. The core is made of a plastic material i.e. polypropylene, and the sealing lips are made of another plastic material e.g. rubber, that is different from the former material and flexible than the former material. The core comprises a U-shaped section in a transverse plane. The core includes openings spaced from/to each other along the longitudinal direction. The openings are used for positioning the seal on a support. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a seal.</p> |
