A humidification control device of an air-conditioner and a method thereof are provided to suppress the scale of the heat exchanger by reducing natural dry time in a heat exchanger surface through a humidification mode and a dry mode. A humidification control device of an air-conditioner comprises: a sprinkle member sprinkling water over a heat exchanger; a flow valve(70) for supplying the water in the sprinkle member; and a controller controlling the flow valve. The controller performs one among a humidification mode and a dry mode. Natural dry action is reduced in the heat exchanger surface by selectively performing water supply operation in the dry mode. The humidification control device comprises a water supply source(60). The flow valve is installed between the water supply source and the sprinkle member. |
