<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce interference in a mobile communication system supporting a carrier aggregation technique prescribed by a 3GPP standard. <P>SOLUTION: A macro base station MeNB in a mobile communication system supporting a carrier aggregation technique prescribed by a 3GPP standard, is configured to communicate with pico base stations PeNB#1 and PeNB#2 via an X2 interface.
