<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the trouble of winding of grasses, etc., cut with a cutting blade, around a casing part of a bush cutter body, and instantaneously discharge the cut grasses outward from the outer circumference of the rotary orbit of the cutting blade. <P>SOLUTION: The body casing of the bush cutter is fixed to the tip end of a handle, and the cutting blade is fixed to a rotary shaft of the body casing with a rotation receptacle and a clamping tool and clamped between the rotation receptacle and the clamping tool. The bush cutter is further provided with a winding prevention member positioned on the upper face of the cutting blade, and having a discharge promoting face to thrust the cut grass to the front side of the rotation direction of the cutting blade and promote the discharge of the cut grass to the outside of the outer circumference of the cutting orbit of the cutting blade.
