OPTICAL FIBER CURRENT SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber current sensor which reduces measurement errors.

SOLUTION: An optical fiber current sensor 1 measures current to be measured by making linearly polarized light incident from one end of a sensor fiber 2, and detecting a Faraday rotation angle given to the linearly polarized light L2 by a magnetic field generated by the current to be measured flowing through a conductor W installed in the vicinity of the sensor fiber 2. The optical fiber current sensor 1 includes a fiber fixing part 22 for fixing the other end of the sensor fiber 2 so that the sensor fiber 2 forms a loop.
