The present invention relates to a control device and a device to be controlled, and in particular relates to a method for transmitting content lists for the control device and the device to be controlled. A method according to one embodiment of the present invention, in which a control-point device receives a content list from a device to be controlled, comprises the steps of: transmitting a content list request message to the device to be controlled; receiving a response message comprising fragments of the content list; and displaying the content list on the basis of the fragments, wherein the fragments comprise a plurality of content objects corresponding to the number of content objects for one content list fragment.
