<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a packaged product wherein projections generated not only on a side face but also on the top face of a packed article wrapped with a shrink film can be processed. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a packaged product includes a packaging step (A) of wrapping an article, and a processing step (B) of processing the article wrapped in the packaging step (A). The packaging step (A) includes: a housing step (A1) of housing an article inside a substantially cylindrical shrink film; a cutting step (A2) of cutting the substantially cylindrical shrink film so that a protruded part is formed in the transverse or vertical direction; and a shrinking step (A3) of shrinking the shrink film in a thermal contraction manner to bring the shrink film into tight contact with the article. In the processing step (B), the article wrapped in the packaging step (A) is advanced between two soft foamed bodies arranged face to face, and the protruded part of the shrink film is pressed to be made smaller when the soft foamed bodies press the article while deforming along the shape of the article. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
