<p>The ultrasound diagnostic apparatus, which is an embodiment of the medical image diagnostic apparatus, is equipped with a rendering unit (17b), a monitor (2) and a control unit (18). The rendering unit (17b) generates a parallax image set, which is a prescribed number of parallax images, by performing rendering on volume data, which is three-dimensional medical image data, from multiple viewpoints. The monitor (2) displays stereoscopic images that an observer perceives stereoscopically by displaying the parallax image set. The control unit (18) performs control so that a combined image set of the parallax image set and an information image, which makes it possible to distinguish a first region displaying the parallax image set on the monitor (2) and a second region displaying an information image representing information other than the parallax image set on the monitor (2), is displayed on the monitor (2).</p> |
