FIELD: construction. ^ SUBSTANCE: according to the method the measuring system is made of piping member whose length is virtually equal to the length of the column. The piping member is provided with a number of emission electrodes for generating electric field and a number of measuring electrodes for measuring electric power. The method comprises drilling reference well, setting the measuring system in the well, obtaining a set of reference measurements, drilling axial hole in the column to be measured, setting the measuring system in the axial hole, and measuring electric voltage at different levels.
