A CTCS (China Train Control System)-3 train control on-board equipment comprises a safety control computer module (10), a speed and range measurement module (11), a wireless communication module (12), a transponder receiving module (13), a track circuit reading module (14), a train control interface module (16) and a man-machine interaction module (15), wherein the safety control computer module (10) is connected to the speed and range measurement module (11), the wireless communication module (12), the transponder receiving module (13), the track circuit reading module (14), the train control interface module (16) and the man-machine interaction module (15) respectively. The CTCS-3 train control on-board equipment can receive train control information sent by ground train control equipment through a GSM-R (Global System for Mobile Communications of Railway) wireless communication network and a track circuit and monitor the safe operation of the train according to the train control information. The CTCS-3 train control on-board equipment not only meets the operational requirements of a CTCS-3 train control system, but also is compatible with a CTCS-2 train control system, and hence has the advantage of good adaptability.
