<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a proper charging by correctly grasping internal temperature of a secondary battery, even when it is in an over-discharged state. <P>SOLUTION: When an AC adapter 129 or a USB BUS130 is connected to a USB connector 122, a USB connection-detection circuit 131 detects which one of them is detected, and electric power is supplied to a battery charging circuit 127 through a USB block 104-5. The electric power becomes a charge power to be supplied to a battery 126. When temperature information of the battery 126 is selected to be supplied to the battery charging circuit 127 side by a thermistor output switching part 132, charging operations are repeated until the battery 126 is fully charged, then the charging stops.
