<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and linearly displace a displacement body in a linear actuator when the displacement body is tilted with respect to the body of the actuator. <P>SOLUTION: A wear ring 20 is mounted on an outer circumferential face of a piston 16 in a fluid pressure cylinder 10, and includes an annular body 58. An inner circumferential face 58b of the body is formed to bulge radially inward to form a circular arc on a cross section; and an outer circumferential face 58a of the body is formed into a flat face substantially parallel to the axis of the body 58 and to be abutted on an inner wall face 12a of a cylinder tube 12.
