<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly predict a traffic flow even when a timing of a change in traffic flow is shifted relative to a usual timing due to a delay in operation of trains and the like, or even when an unexpected change occurs in the traffic flow hereafter. <P>SOLUTION: An elevator group controlling system compares a transition pattern of a characteristic of the past time-series data relative to the time course with a transition pattern of a characteristic of the traffic flow data till the current time relative to the time course based on the transition of time course characteristic of the traffic flow occurring in the past, and predicts a future traffic flow as of the current time based on the past data pattern that is closest to a transition pattern of a characteristic of traffic flow data till the current time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
